#SuperOldGameSaturday - Sailor Moon: Another Story (Super Famicom) - Part 2
Originally Recorded/Aired on April 16th, 2022
We return to the RPG we're currently playing on #SuperOldGameSaturday, as requested by DollyFinn, with 1995's Sailor Moon: Another Story for the Super Famicom, except unlike Part 1, DollyFinn was not with me in the studio for this part. Even so, she showed up in the chat as we continued our journey to save the world from the time-bending antics of Lord Apsu and the Opposito Senshi with more great discussion points as we pressed on. For this part, we continued our search for the remaining Hi Crystals with Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus (who I kept calling the wrong names), rejoined Sailor Moon as Dr. Tomoe and Queen Beryl returned and saw the first playable appearances of Sailor Pluto and Sailor Mini-Moon, all while discussing more about this series (including a deep discussion on the villains across the series, particularly in S and Super S) and branching off with topics as varied as Batman, the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, more memories of this and other DiC-released series and even went into our first experiences of being able to determine games that we hated (which DID result in a few viewer requests for the master list, as well as their better counterparts, as we discuss in this show). As always, we're running each month for 5 hours with this until we finish it and, even just 2 parts into our third RPG for this program, I'm having a great time and I get the sense the chat has, too, and I thank them and you for watching and making it such a unique look at this Japan-only release and the anime/manga that it's based on. Hope you enjoy our continued adventures with this one (and if you like what you see here, stop by https://www.twitch.tv/captainditrag each Saturday at 7 PM EST to see these streams live and join/help drive the conversations on what we play each week)!
