Aki in these streams always does a great job of going right up to the limit of what I can tolerate in terms of S content but never going over the line. I don’t consider myself an “M” at all, in fact I usually strongly dislike that sort of thing, but in a zeitgeist where it seems like most “S” people are content to just step on you and call you a baka, Aki stands out as someone who can be teasing, dominating, and yes, even a little sadistic, in a way that’s tasteful and doesn’t degenerate into just treating people like trash. In Japanese, there’s a phrase called “ai ga aru S,” meaning “sadism with love,” and that gets thrown around a lot, but Aki is the only vtuber I’ve encountered who has ever come anywhere close to what I would consider “sadism with love,” and I think that’s really remarkable. Plus, like the mother’s day one, I also love how she tends to put the more S-type stuff at the beginning or middle of the stream and then end on a sweet note, some people do the opposite and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Like many of these streams, though, some of this is a little dark in retrospect. She’s definitely projecting a bit in parts of this…
