I can't believe it happened again. I was inactive last week because I was sick, and it hampered my uploading schedule. Next time I'm gonna have to get everything ready BEFORE I upload videos.
The next place Altaïr travels to is Jerusalem, where the sun is still able to shine through the density of the fog. Historically speaking, Jerusalem is a city located in the hills of the Judean Mountains, between both the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea. It has been occupied by many Muslim dynasties until the Crusades began, to reclaim the 'Holy Land' as some would say.
Traversing through the districts, Altaïr would enter the bureau, where Malik awaits in disgust. The consequences of their search for the treasure were disastrous, with Mailk's brother dead and his arm being lost. Mailk was right to express his burning hatred and skepticism towards Altaïr, who he believe still makes a mockery of the Creed. Regardless, Mailk has to help him track down his next target.
While Malik only provided locations of where to start, he didn't provide information about Talal himself. Altaïr only learns later on that he is a slaver, kidnapping, and trafficking Jerusalem citizens just to sell them into slavery. It didn't matter who it was, be it men, women, or children. Armed with additional knowledge from his findings, Altaïr tracks down Talal in an abandoned warehouse.
Altaïr confronts Talal, but the coward hides within the shadows, rejecting the notion of being a slaver and claiming to aid these people in his own twisted way. Altaïr sees through it, eventually fighting his men to give chase after him. Malik didn't say that Talal was athletic either... perhaps it was just a mere skill he gained from the past.
Regardless, Altaïr chases down Talal and assassinates him, having one last conversation with the slaver. Again, circling around with his words, Talal mentions his part being played, while still twisting his words to try and make himself a person with good intentions.
Once returning to the bureau to confirm the kill, the memory comes to an end as Desmond returns back to the modern world. A strange revelation came to fruition as Lucy said Warren saved her life a long time ago... so now she's in his debt, despite his constant yelling and berating.
What a strange day.
