Assassin's Creed - Memory Block 4 (1/3); Al Mualim sends Altaïr away from Masyaf to hunt for the next three targets.

╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗
Desmond awakens to a enthusiastic Warren, who can now keep him in the Animus for longer periods than the previous attempts. This enthusiam spills into Abstergo propaganda, once again speaking about changing the world and bringing peace to all that needs it. Regardless, Desmond hops back in the Animus to relive Altaïr's memory.

Altaïr and Al Mualim speak again, the latter praising the former's work in assassinating one-third of the Templar. While King Richard and Saladin march to Arsuf to meet, other men pretend to govern in their absence: Abu'l Nuquod, Majd Addin, and William of Montferrat, all accused of corrupting their respective lands and endangering the lives of citizens, even if they are not aware of their evils. With one rank restored, Altaïr rides to Damascus to hunt for Abu'l Nuquod.

Although Rafik taunts Altaïr of his failures, he only provided limited information in regards to Abu'l Nuquod, as the Merchant King hides within his palace. This prompts Altaïr to scour for more information around the palace before striking the Merchant King. From his gatherings, he finds a map of the guards around the palace, stole a letter about a festival taking place, and learn that Abu'l will present himself in the palace.

With these findings, Altaïr infiltrates the palace and blends among the crowd (despite sticking out like a sore thumb), listening as Abu'l expression of gratitude turn into resentment, seeing the citizens as ungrateful, whispering negative things about the Merchant King while he speaks about the Crusades. The festival erupts into chaos after it was revealed the wine was posioned, giving Altaïr an opportunity to give chase and assassinate him.

In his dying breath, Abu'l express disappointment, claiming that he wasn't seeking revenge, but rather a new and better world, rather than heeding the words of those that once see him as an abomination. Like all the previous three, Abu'l leaves Altaïr to question his mission.
