Only one more Templar to hunt down, as Altaïr rides to Acre to meet with Jabal one more time. From what he can gather, Sibrand. He is the newly appointed leader of the Knights Teutonic, holding control over the ports of Acre. Nothing more could be said, as it was up to Altaïr to gather more information about his target. But before Altaïr could leave the Bureau, Jabal apologizes for doubting the Assassin. Altaïr forgives him, although he would rather blame himself for thinking above the Creed.

Quite the character development he's made throughout the entire game.

After performing an interrogation, pickpocketing a letter from a disgruntled man, and acquiring another letter from an informant, Altaïr returns to the Bureau to lay out the details. It isn't a surprise that Sibrand has been consumed by fear ever since Altaïr made work of the other Templars. It's no wonder he sealed the docks, just for his ship to arrive and flee. While this may pose danger in Jabal's eyes, Altaïr sees the advantage in utilizing Sibrand's weakness.

Approaching the dock, Altaïr would encounter a commotion going on. Sibrand is among the crowd, accusing a scholar of inciting violence. He went as far as to accuse the scholar of being associated with being an Assassin. While the scholar tries to calm the paranoid man, Sibrand's fear consumes him, and ends up murdering the scholar. Bystanders simply watched, not lending a single hand.

With the crowd dispersed, Altaïr hunts Sibrand down and assassinates him. Despite his fears fading away, Sibrand tells Altaïr that he was trying to free the Holy Land from the tyranny of faith. Sibrand dies, and the assassin escapes the scene, returning to Jabal.

The memory ends as Desmond comes to see Vidic speaking with some unknown figure, an associate of Abstergo most likely. They want a progress report as soon as possible, time running short. Tension builds up in Vidic, dismissing the assassin. Before Desmond rests up, Lucy warns him that the Templars are using him to locate the rest of the Pieces of Eden.
