Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

If you'd like to play this game, the full installer can be found here:

If you're looking to upgrade from an earlier version of the mod, the latest patch (1.07) can be found here:

Picking up right where we left off, there's a Fire Crystal to collect. This being the 2nd one I've found grants the Flame Wall spell. For 8 mp, this sends a ground based wall of flame forward. It's not a good idea to use it in narrow hallways since it'll like fizzle out the moment you hit your spell button, but otherwise it's not bad (I want my KF2US version of this spell back though, heh).

Go south across the bridge to another lighthouse, then follow the path down until you reach the only other destination you can access, that jail Sandler is in. Use your Jail Key to open it, then talk to him. He mentions a necklace of Gigi's getting stolen by a rat, but more importantly...he's run away from his mom again. So long as we don't tell his mom where he has been, he'll give us...oh wait he's giving it to us anyways? Quite a trustworthy boy he is.

In any case, you get a Figure of Guyra. When used, this warps you back to the golden fountain immediately...and it has infinite uses too! Very nice as it means less extended walks for a quick refill now.

Sandler mentions getting it from a dead body in the room. You would do well to go search that dead body before using your Star Gate to warp out. Apparently Sandler missed something on the body, a Gold Key. Still not goddamn Harvine's Key, but I'll take any new ones I get at this point regardless.

Anyways, after warping out and returning back to the East Coast, there's one path left to explore at the entrance, the one going all the way south. This leads into a big room with some guards. Several paths to go on, but the only one that matter is the one all alone at the east end of the room. This leads to another graveyard area.

This graveyard has a couple items on the graves, most notably a Verdite. You can also go down the well if you want, but I couldn't find anything down here of note besides an odd pillar I couldn't do anything with so I had to warp out so I could go on with exploring the area.

In any case, once you find your way out of the graveyard, you should be on a bridge over the river going east. If you keep going east, you'll run into a pedestal & save point. The one path outside of the room leads north to a house with another side path going across a bridge to the west. That bridge leads to a small cave with a pair of swinging scythe traps and a locked chest at the end. Your Copper Key can open it and you'll get a Dragon Crystal from it.

As for that house? It's the home of Leon Shore...and wouldn't you know it, he's watering his plants outside. Nothing can really be done with him right now (Dias IS kinda evil and all that...) so...time to warp out as we're done with the East Coast for now.

Just one more thing to check out next time.
