What If Wolverine Father? Logan returns much sooner to see the Winter Soldier kill his wife Itsu, thus he kills him, then performs a cesarean section and saves his unborn son. Time passes as Logan raises his son John in remote Tibet, trying to teach him peace and staying away from heroics. John discovers a goat one day, but that night, it's reduced to bone. Logan tries to ignore it, but soon, an X-Men helicopter finds his retreat, with Xavier introducing himself and asking him to join his team. Logan refuses, but his son becomes suspicious. Years later, John nearly kills a local village boy, and Logan leaves him to do all the farmwork for a few weeks while he goes somewhere. John and a village girl named Indira start to have a thing, only for Sabretooth to finally hunt down Logan's hiding place, pushing Indira off a cliff, before preparing to really hurt John. John reveals he also has retractable bone claws, but Sabretooth's healing factor saves him and he pushes him over the cliff as well. Logan returns and kills Sabretooth, also finding John's disappeared, but not before he massacred the nearby monastery. John travels to Tokyo, where he becomes hired muscle for a crime boss, later taking over himself and adopting the name Daken. And that's who Logan is finally forced to confront years later. He pleads with him to return, but seeing the monster John's become, is forced to use the Muramasa blade to kill him, before killing himself out of guilt. This was depressing, showing that Logan will never find happiness in any universe where he reproduces. And that his offspring are just destined to become bad seeds. The story and artwork are fine, it's just not a story for me. Also, John seems quite thin for picking an entire goat clean.
