Assassin's Creed II - Sequence 8; In order to clear his name, Ezio needs to participate in Carnevale, to not only acquire a special mask to conceal his identity, but to also assassinate Marco Barbarigo, who is using his influence to gain followers.

Ezio quickly returns to Leonardo's workshop in an attempt to hide. Having failed to prevent the assassination of the Doge, the assassin himself is now the most wanted man in Venezia. Fortunately, it's Carnevale; a time (and opportunity) for people to go without a face. Leonardo gives Ezio a mask for him to use, temporarily concealing his identity. With this mask equipped, Ezio traverses the streets of Venezia to find Antonio, who just so happens to be sitting inside a brothel, which is run by Teodora, a nun who was a part of the church, before growing disillusioned with their beliefs and parted ways with them.

Ezio, Antonio, and Teodora agree that the Templer Doge should be assassinated, but getting inside will be difficult. They need to acquire an authentic golden mask, and forging one would be useless. Fortunately, achieving a golden mask should be easy, thanks to the Games of Carnevale. First, Ezio must collect ribbons from the women participating in the games. Next, he must race around the district and break the speed record before they can. Then, he has to play Capture The Flag against his opponent and score the most points. Finally, he must fight his opponents to gain the golden mask without the use of weapons. Obviously, the game was rigged from the start, with Templar soldiers entering the last two games to stop Ezio. And when that failed, they rigged the whole game so that Dante could win and earn the mask. Even the people knew it was rigged.

It was a slight setback, but fortunately, not all is lost. One of the courtesans saw Dante heading towards the Doge's party. Ezio wants to kill him, but Antonio disagrees, arguing that all their efforts would be for nothing if they fled the scene. So instead, Ezio steals the golden mask from Dante, taking back what was rightfully his. With the mask in his hand, Ezio enters the party, waiting for the opportunity to kill the Doge as he makes his speech. Just when suspicion could grow even further, Ezio takes the shot, killing Marco once and for all.

In the end, the Templars suffer another blow, while Ezio revels in his victory against him, with the help of the girls...
