PAYBACK TIME. That is all. Grace and Glory can suck it.

Oh hey, have some MOAR Grace and Glory in this Alfheim! Yeah, I'm kinda done with these things! You might as well just make them the only enemy in this Chapter! Hey, at least I tried...

These wind enemies....are a pain. Huge attack radius, plus little to no room to dodge, AND put in some foliage to make it hard to see! It was fine before, when you had more room to maneuver but now its just feeling unfair.

Here's ANOTHER death! You know, I don't mind setpieces and all that but they don't seem...tuned to Bayo's movement. Even getting that final piece of the Gold LP doesn't make up for all this death!

You know, I'm not a big fan of Inspired, due to primarily being out of reach most of the time. Keeping firing at them with Scarborough Fair to eventually make them fall down. Even then, I still have trouble with them, as they constantly swat at you. BUT...getting off TWO Infernal Summons kinda helps ease the sting.

At last, we have our weapon, Durga. Taken from the name of the Hindi Goddess, called Durga the Invincible (and getting some more Mozart in with music!) these weapons...look familiar, huh? I'm spit balling here, but I'd assume Durga is like...a Grace and Glory mashed together...

So yeah, Durga's a great weapon....though my usage of it kinda...falters here. Probably shouldn't have used it on Inspired, huh? Might have averted ANOTHER death. But anyway, Durga has two forms you switch between by using its Bullet Climax (you know, spinning the stick and attacking?), Fire and Lighting. Durga Fire is strong, but slow, and its combo strings aren't too long. Durga Lightning is fast, fast enough to get out more hits in a combo, but also far weaker. What REALLY makes them scary is their charging move. Each form generates a pulse that does good damage if foes are close enough. Now, Durga Fire creates flaming skulls that explode on their own after a bit, or if enemies get close. Durga Lighting has its charge move charge faster, but doesn't make a "mine" as it were, and its weaker. Seriously, the Durga Fire's charge is super strong, especially if you charge a move later into a combo string.

Here we see Jeanne talking to some....creepy weird Popeye arm man. It seems now is the time for our final confrontation! Maybe? Jeanne mostly adds Wicked Weaves to her moveset here, and dodging those are the ONLY time you can activate Witch Time. Makes sense though. If Umbra Witches can control time, you'd only be able to get Witch Time off on them when they exert themselves with such a strong move, when they're vulnerable, right?

Yeah, uh...that tiny little section for the second phase of the fight is tiny...and....not the best time to try out Durga...especially when she does NOTHING BUT SPAM DROP KICKS. Why do my fights with her get so weird when I record them?

My death HERE came from accidentally switching to Shuraba and then doing its Bullet Climax. I meant to stay in Durga and switch to fire...and I paid for my mistake!

OK, Round Two goes MUCH better. Told you Durga Fire was strong! And that Counter I got off on her also helped shave off health. In typical rival fashion though, Jeanne retreats, claiming we aren't strong enough or whatever....and shows off three crazy shapeshifting moves in quick succession...and Bayo follows suit!

At LONG last we can dash! In beast form! So yeah, Beast Within is super, SUPER nifty and oddly enough, it makes portions of this stage easier. I almost feel like you were meant to get Beast Within earlier in the stage, but hey.

FOURTEEN VERSES. Yeah, Platinum, don't you think you went a TAD overboard here? And yeah, even ONE death would have heavily docked my score. I'm pretty sure that two deaths automatically gets you down to Stone, MAAAAYBE Bronze if you're lucky. I'm with you Enzo, what a day indeed.

So yeah...not my proudest moment, but you know what, I'm only human! Gotta show failures every once and a while, right? Hopefully next chapter won't be so bad...
