Exit Fate is a role playing game made in RPGMaker by SCF. With 75 characters to recruit, a mixture of typical turn based combat and war battles, and an engaging story, the result is a very Suikoden-esque game.

Back at the meeting hall at Elysium. Erin's here and gives a lowdown on Kirgard's actions....and surprisingly, they didn't take over Mayfall, but rather pressed on to capture Amen Corner. Very strange cause they're opening themselves up to an attack from Daniel's army from behind. Perhaps to cut off Matrech from any key information?

However, thanks to a letter a messenger managed to deliver, Merrick has a plan. If Kirgard cut off Mayfall, his forces would be rendered useless. As such, he's going to take a gamble. In two days at dawn, he's gonna launch an attack on the Kirgard camp. He's counting on the State Army to attack at exactly the same time. If done correctly, they can proceed to take back Amen Corner and catch the Kirgard army by surprise.

Just one issue...who's behind this whole scheme on Kirgard's end? Daniel says the only one who could come up with such a plan would be Keyser.

Regardless, the plan's simple...Daniel takes his army and a regiment of the State Army to meet up with the Mayfall army as planned. That means Daniel gets full control of this mission just so he can prove his loyalty. Capital!

Once the meeting's over, Daniel needs to return to his room to get some rest. There's just one problem....some lame ninja thinks hiding in the shadows consists of crouching as a black silhouette on top of a bookcase in Daniel's room is a great plan to ambush him. Even better when he decides to wait until Daniel's walked by to reveal himself. Seriously ninja dude, if you were smart, you would have ambushed him right when he was next to the bookcase!

In any case, a short battle ensues. The ninja can do some decent damage and even double turn Daniel at times, but so long as you're watching your mp to leave enough for a casting of Mend from time to time, he'll fall after a few heals.

Ayara and a couple soldiers come rushing in to assist Daniel. The ninja's whole reason for assaulting Daniel is a classic case of revenge. How so? Daniel absolutely had a hand in causing the death of his sister in the Kirgard army. Daniel denies such a claim and decides to let the ninja go for now. If he wants to return, good luck trying to assassinate Daniel when he's now going to have a pair of guards outside his room.

Next time, we start pushing back against Kirgard.
