Ever since it's been possible to get the Wrong Warp on the PS version, Tigame and I have worked on a new Any% route. The old Any% category is now known as “Any% No WW”. This new route features collecting 31 bonus coins and wrong warping rather then collecting 30 remotes. It is similar to the “Any% No Item Duplication” N64 category. This category also can go down to a sub 26 run.

This segmented video only shows the NTSC version route because for PAL, you can’t TV cancel with the donkey in Western Station and there is also a different Wrong Warp setup as well. Here are Tigame’s wrong warp setup videos.

In Holiday Broadcasting, going on the snowboard could be faster because it goes at the same speed with Gex's karate kick. The bonus coin and the gates also seem to have a wider hitbox. But it is easier to hit the elves without the snowboard.

Once you TV Cancel off to the donkey in Western Station, don't get off the donkey until Gex dies or else you will softlock the game.

In Funky Town, make sure to skip the cutscene after the gates break or else they will not break and you will have to reenter the level and destroy the 3 vehicles again.

Speedrunning Update: The 1 category that I'm trying to improve on is Gex 3 100%.

My PB in Gex 3 100% so far is 2:28:38. It got the 1 frame TV Cancel trick in Holy Moses so I didn't attempt to go for the "1 cycle" Mythology Network that will risk the whole run to another 1 frame trick but going for that saves around 2 minutes. I lost 1 whole minute for being rusty in end game.

My goal is to get 2:27:xx. The TV cancels in Mythology Network is what makes the level the worst level in Gex 3 100% BY FAR for me. I think I have the potential to get a 2:23:xx run if I can get the 2 frame perfect TV cancel skips with great gameplay. But like I say, I am aiming for 2:27:xx because this category is brutal.

Here is a run that died at the Rainbow TV Cancel skip. Just about every single good paced runs die here. The only run that made it past is my current PB.
