How to Enable Remote Play for PS5 Settings (Play from Phone or PC)
1Setting up Remote Play on your PS5 allows you to stream games from your console to another device, such as a phone, PC, Mac, or tablet. This is a great feature for playing your PS5 games when you are away from home or when the TV is in use.
The setup process is simple and can be broken down into two main parts: enabling the feature on your PS5 and then downloading the app on your other device.
Step 1: Enable Remote Play on Your PS5
This only needs to be done once to set up the connection.
From the PlayStation 5 home screen, go to Settings ⚙ ️ in the top-right corner.
Navigate to System and then select Remote Play.
Turn on the Enable Remote Play toggle.
Step 2: Enable Remote Play from Rest Mode (Optional, but recommended)
To be able to start a Remote Play session when your PS5 is in Rest Mode, you need to enable two additional settings. This is crucial for playing from a different location or when your console is not fully powered on.
From the Settings menu, go to System Power Saving Features Available in Rest Mode.
Make sure the following two options are turned on:
