Last time, we traveled to a place of foolish dreams and dashed hopes: the American frontier. Here we met our sixth protagonist, a criminal named Sundown. He is being pursued by a bounty hunter named Mad Dog and stumbles upon a small town, 'Success'. The town is being harassed by a gang called the 'Crazy Bunch'. Mad Dog and Sundown agree to temporarily join forces to rid the town of the gang. What's gonna happen? Let's just jump right in...

CHAPTER 18 - THE WANDERER (WILD WEST)

So we're still in the saloon. When you're ready, go ahead and speak with Mad Dog, who will give you the basic outline of the plan. The Crazy Bunch is coming here, so we're unfortunately vastly outnumbered. The only way to hopefully even the playing field is to lay several traps.

We need to check all the buildings, including the saloon we're in, for supplies to make traps. When you're done, you'll head back to the Crystal Saloon and distribute them. As you're collecting supplies, Mad Dog may ask you if want to combine some of them to make 'bottled fire'. Say yes, each time.

Back at the saloon, here's how I distributed supplies:

Annie - Frying Pan
Billy - Slingshot (talk to Billy and he'll give this to you)
The Sheriff - Rope
The Barman - Barman's poster (lol!)
James - Shovel
Dallas - Coal Tar
Wayne - Horse Manure
Sancho - Bottle Fire
Pancho - Dynamite
Cesar - Carrot

I think I may have overdone it, I think you only need eight traps. The only people that have character-specific items are Annie and Billy. Everyone else's is more or less interchangeable. If you do this correctly, the only person left should be the gang's leader, O.Dio.

BOSS BATTLE - O.DIO

Already? I was really enjoying this era. O.Dio is not too tough. I had Sundown using Hollow Point and Mad Dog using 'Ride the Lightning'. Both moves are supposed to randomly inflict paralysis and supposedly interrupts his charged move. I was unable to interrupt him, but he foolishly targeted one of the rocks.

If you get hit with the Gatling Gun, it should kill your character. Luckily, you should have two 'Miracle Tonics' which can be used to heal an area. Additionally, you have two 'Bottled fire', which can be used to inflict damage. I didn't seem to need it. O.Dio should go down in about 3-4 turns.

After the battle, you'll eventually fight Mad Dogg again. Apparently, there's an additional scene if you flee from this battle and spare him. I decided to just kill him, but it doesn't change the overall ending.
