Splatoon 3: A win for inertia in Tower Control [6(1)-1, Range Blaster]
I peek at the map to see if someone is coming up the wall, just as they come up the wall. Great timing. At least they don't splat us, and are shooed away. Probably. Another inkling, or maybe the same one, comes from the other side to flank, and look to be splatted despite my effort to shoot blindly. I move up, blast at someone, and wisely decide not to poke me nose up there, instead moving back behind the Tower. It briefly moved forwards, which is nice, and once the yellow B-bomb clears, I hop on to get it moving again. There is plenty of pressure ahead, though, so I leap off to try to relieve some, not getting any splats but hopefully keeping them on their toes.
I have to withdraw, moving back and up, where the Tower has reset to. There are inklings behind the wall, so I strategically blast above and to the side, getting one splat, and dodge backwards to get another with a reaction shot. With the Wave Breaker gone, we can ride the Tower again, getting further than before. And with a Ink Vac at my back, I jump off to apply some pressure. The Vac disappears, but I keep blasting, getting two good splats, and a third as I move up to where the Tower is. I hop on, looking for some glory, and throw a Suction Bomb after the Wipeout is announced. What a good use of ink.
The onslaught comes from the obvious direction, the inklings surging towards the Tower, but another Ink Vac keeps the Tower safe. I jump off to try to get splats, which will make us safer. I don't get any, so I get back on the Tower, drop a Wave Breaker, and try to splat from there. That doesn't work either, the inklings on the wall avoiding my blasts, or my aim being haphazard. But it doesn't matter, because even though I'm splatted, inertia carries the Tower to the goal. Woomy!
