Splatoon 3: One hundred battles in one in Wisdom Splatfest [11(3)-6, Range Blaster]
4I have chosen the path of Wisdom. And it has guided me to a 100x battle against Power. No pressure. I don't want to rush the middle too quickly, so I pause for a couple of shots to the side. That ought to do it. I hop the middle, almost hit a Power inkling, but they do the decent thing and fall in the water. They wouldn't have done that were they wiser. I probe for more inklings, but have to push forwards to find them, which ends up giving us good turf control. I try to hold that turf, but get caught by the N-ZAP '89.
We are pushed back as I return. I try to blast around corners, but it's my cunningly thrown Suction Bomb that gets a splat. A poke up on the ledge finds another splat as the Aerospray tries to claim more turf. Pushing forwards turns out to be a bit early, though, as the Tri-slosher tickles my toes. Half-way through the battle, and things are looking too powerful. I try to probe forwards next, which seems to work until I ignore a Chicken. I super-jump to the turf revealed by the changing water level, helping out with some squids nearby, and saved from the Aerospray by a Tacticooler.
The gamer juice gives me the energy I need to splat the N-ZAP '89 sliding off the ledge, but getting low on ink has my rapid withdrawing. I somehow get to a position where I get three splats in succession, which is nice. Chasing the fourth turns out to be a mistake, though. We're in to the last twenty seconds of the battle. The situation looks good for us, but everything can change so quickly in Turf War. I super-jump back to the action, letting me get splatted much more quickly, and do so a second time. But at least my squidmates weren't so reckless in the final seconds.
We win the 100x battle for Wisdom, gaining huge amounts of clout! And a neat little fish crown for the rest of the Splatfest. Woomy!
