Here come the Cohocks! I dash in to get an egg, confident that my cannoneer squidmates will splat the Cohocks away. They don't, but never mind. The uncoordinated mayhem continues a little longer, a cannoneer splatted too, but after that we get ourselves set, we know our roles, and we get in to a groove. Bosses are splatted, eggs are collected, and we end up with a decent haul. Good work, everyone!

We're back to normal for the second wave, giving us an easier start with some simple boss splats. I hear a Stinger but get distracted by a Flipper, whose landing patch I cannot ink in time with the Blaster. A squidmate has the Stinger under control, which is good, so I focus on the Flipper, splatted on the second landing. A squidmate is splatted, but two Scrappers get in my way for me to help them immediately. A Splat Bomb does the trick, though. I duck down for an egg, coming back to the basket to find loads, but also some threat, with one Stinger firing away and a second coming to the piers. I head down to deal with the one at the pier, where it's not safe, with a Scrapper chasing me. Luckily, I can hop the water, and just about get safely back to the basket, with the Scrapper following all the way. That should give us some extra eggs, if it weren't for a surprise Maws. It's all good, though.

I have the Explosher for the third wave. We don't get Mudmouths, though, which is a shame. I do see a Flyfish, a good primary target for the Explosher, saving everyone else ink, and I can ink the landing patches of Flippers really easily now. A Stinger is a fair target, I think, made easier with a Dolphin, but I have to leave Fish Fingers to others. Thankfully, they know what to do. Another Stinger means my second Dolphin gets used, and to good effect, although I can only get one of the eggs back to the basket. But we finish the Run, and with a good- wait, an emergency?

Horrorboros appears! I have the generic Splattershot, which is fine by me. A Flipper is first to fall, an egg hitting the Boros's bomb, but my dinky weapon isn't doing much by itself. I start splatting more bosses to get more eggs, doing well to line up with a Drizzler after a Scrapper. The eggs starting hitting the Boros's bomb too, doing a good amount of damage. The others lying around are too far away, so I just throw them in to the flying body, just to do some damage. I find myself going down to the Big Shot cannon, where there are bosses and eggs. I even use eggs to make more eggs, which seem a good trade, and before long I'm surrounded by them. I start sending them via the cannon to a more central location, where they are picked up and thrown at the Boros nicely. It is nearly splatted when I run out of eggs to launch, so I head back, one left, and give the Boros all we've got. It's enough! The king salmonid is splatted! Wooomy!
