#11: Red Belts [ Factorio — Noob to Pro ]
Let's Play Factorio — Freeplay (PC)
#11: Red Belts & Retirement
The logistics station feels a bit overdue; red belts are necessary to increase the throughput of our smelting arrays and feed the eletronic circuit factory quickly enough for full production. The smelters themselves are expanded easily using automated building via blueprints and construction bots, and a module factory is also rather overdue enhance our entire factory.
This is the last episode of this series. It really only got started, but I felt that the format wasn't working for me given the nature of this game and the way that I like to play it; keeping sessions to one-hour is very limiting, and I feel that in order to truly unleash my creative potential, I need to break out of the "record everything" method.
A new Factorio series will be starting up soon using a new format of periodic updates on my world and what I'm working on.

ABOUT THIS SERIES:
I'm a new player to Factorio, having recently picked it up with the Steam Release of the game. I have completed the campaigns and finished a single freeplay game by launching my first rocket, but beyond that I'm still green. In this series I hope to expand my skills and knowledge of the game as much as possible, exploring all the technologies, and pushing the limits of what I can do in it. Seeing as how Factorio is a pretty slow-paced game, the footage is sped up to 3x normal speed with post-commentary.
ABOUT THE GAME:
Factorio is an early access game that has recently released on Steam, but it has been in development for the past four years by the Wube Software team. This is a game about gathering resources to research technology, craft machines, process materials, and defend your base against angry biters, but this isn't just another survival/crafting game... no no! The name of the game is 'automation', and Factorio is all about finding ways to engineer solutions to your ever expanding horizons. We don't do manual labor here; instead we use our creative problem-solving skills to design a factory to do all the hard work for us.
