So last time, we went through the not-so Giant of Babel area. You'd think a giant would have more than five floors, but I guess not. I guess they made up for it by having us fight all four Elemental Lords simultaneously. They weren't much of a challenge this time around, not even Rubicante and were even kind of enough to heal me beforehand. The real boss was still waiting ahead, the CPU! This one proved to be more of a challenge, but still nothing my party couldn't handle. Afterwards, FuSoYa confronts Golbez and frees him from control by Zemus, the true principle antagonist of the game. The two head back to the Moon to confront him, but not before revealing that Golbez is Cecil's brother!

The crew decide to go after him and help, but before that, we're treated to a scene where Cecil tells Rosa and Rydia to sit this one out. I nearly had a heart attack! Without the ladies, I'm sorely lacking in the magic department. Who am I going to heal with? Cecil? Guy's got like 150 MP only. Luckily, they didn't listen to him and they all head to the moon for the final battle...

CHAPTER 20 - LUNAR SUBTERRANE

So we're back on the Moon and there's really only one place to go. We didn't bother exploring it earlier, but in the room behind FuSoYa's throne in the Crystal Palace, there is a vault room housing the Crystals of the Moon. The tile in the center of the room will take you to the path to the Moon's core. FuSoYa explained earlier that they've sealed Zemus there and if you tried heading there earlier in the game, it wouldn't let you. FuSoYa and Golbez have just passed through here, so now the seal is broken.

This area is big, roughly ten floors and is riddled with numerous hidden paths. There's also a total of five optional bosses, numerous monster-treasure chests and plenty of normal treasures as well. I would recommend that you do everything, as the boss fights will get you some of the strongest weapons and gear in the game. This is the last area anyway, might as well do everything and not hold anything back. Use the items you've been rationing. Have Edge use his 'Throw' command with the tons of weapons you'll no longer need. This is the last hurrah!

This chapter will go through floors B1-B6 and the first two bosses you find here: White Dragon and Dark Bahamut. White Dragon gives you the 'Murasame' for Edge and Dark Bahamut will give you the 'Ragnarok' for Cecil. Neither is too challenging, but Dark Bahamut is definitely the more challenging of the two. After these guys the remaining optional bosses are cake!
