Lowest-levelled unit: Robin (7.61)
Highest-levelled non-Chrom unit: Nowi / Gaius (8.85)

A very big, eventful map with lots of things to do. There are thieves running away in multiple directions, catching whom is no small feat, reinforcements appearing in different places for three subsequent turns, though the number of reinforcements pales in comparison to what appears on Lunatic mode, making it more manageable.

Despite the high number of thieves, they don't use their full movement stat each turn, making them easy to reach. Sending Chrom north is sufficient for catching the two thieves escaping there, and Chrom can help take on some of the reinforcements there. This seems like a good chance to catch Robin up in experience. A couple kills brings up to where she's close to the party's highest-levelled unpromoted enemies, as you'd expect from somebody equipped with Veteran.

Acquiring my second master seal, time comes to promote some units. Hitting maximum level by the chapter's end, Chrom is an obvious candidate for one of them, and I opt to promote Ricken as soon as he gets to promotion range mid-chapter. This gives the party a second healer temporarily, which isn't something we couldn't live without to be frank, and keeps Ricken out for quite some portion of the game ahead. Was it a good idea? Only time will tell. His magical chip is far stronger against many enemy types than chucking a javelin with one of the scrubs you see me using in this map, and he's decently bulky compared to, say, Miriel, so he does have an enemy phase if you want him to have one. However, when promoted, he will be busy staffbotting, so I might as well let the rest of the army have more of a spotlight immediately with him out of the picture.

The wyverns have a lot of movement to target vulnerable units like Maribelle and the mages, none of whom are fortunately OHKO'd, and the 1-2 range ones cover a lot of ground especially. Factoring in the exact spawn points of the reinforcement wyverns in the west is a good idea to avoid resets fairly late into the clear.

Nearly everyone else gets fed some experience, too, with Gaius reaching the level he gets a mobility bonus at, and Donnel hitting 10 in all important stats, making him somewhat more tolerable as a pairup partner before he I reclass him into something else. Cordelia's performance with Kellam as a partner stands out in particular, as she can double and 2RKO lots of enemies with some luck in his level-ups, and she can tank three enemies on turn 1 no matter the quality of her first level-up or rolls on the enemy stats, which is significant enough when tonics are not allowed (for now; may change my mind later).

I kinda forget Chrom is so close to levelling up naturally at the end of the map and make him kill the boss. Probably should've fed that level to somebody else, but I'm sure they'll have a chance to catch up as they all do in this run. Having a promoted Chrom, with double the stats compared to the rest of the army, will be a huge boon. He can face bosses like Gangrel in the next map by virtue of his stats alone, and making him fight in the back of a pairup gives +2 stats across the board and anywhere from 6 to 8 speed depending on support level being present.
