Lowest-levelled unit that isn't Olivia: Miriel (8.71)
Highest-levelled unit that isn't Chrom: Sumia (9.85)

First map with Olivia as the dancer. Starting at base level, Olivia can catch up with the party's lowest-levelled units within a few maps if she routinely dances somebody each turn even if nobody needs a dance, which is frequent enough. In the short term, Olivia levels are a good idea as she may find herself attacked in a run where not every fielded unit is a juggernaut (most likely, only Chrom will be), so any point of hp, spd, def, res and even lck counts. By pairing up with promoted Chrom, Olivia can definitely score kills to level up, but she's best used to help the rest of the army.

This is a really spacious map, where you have to get busy if you want to survive. There are as many as six waves of reinforcements on consecutive turns coming from many directions at once - fighters, wyverns, mages, heroes... Getting in the range of Gangrel's squad immediately causes all of them to attack at once, so we don't want to aggro them until all of our army is healed up and ready to take them on in combat.

The two chests contain a large Bullion and a Goddess Icon. As Gaius is too overlevelled to be fielded, I do not get to open the latter. Since boosters should stay banned for the rest of the game as per the rules I chose, this won't have any effect on the maps to come. The Bullion is obtained by having Stahl OHKO the thief who opens that chest (and that chest alone).

Besides Chrom, several other units clearly shine in combat. Sumia is still a great magekiller, though her combat against other enemy types relies heavily on whether Chrom procs his dual strike. My priority here is build Chrom's lance rank as a Great Lord so that he has 1-2 range with those amazing stats of his for maximum enemy phase utility when more nonsensical Awakening maps commence. Stahl is tanky as hell when glued to Kellam, his lance and sword ranks letting him choose the best weapon for the occasion - killing edges are effective when failing to double. Finally, Nowi is great for denting any enemy type, and seems to handle Elwind mages best of everyone (since Sumia takes effective damage from them). Panne, Virion and Miriel all find some utility as well.

I choose to promote Miriel when she hits lv. 10 so that she makes room for levelling the other party members. Between Robin, Tharja and Henry, the latter two capable of sustaining themselves with purchasable Nosferatu tomes in 3 maps from now, I should have all the tome users I need. If used as a staffbot, it shouldn't matter whether she's gained 10 levels or 20, and I don't want to part with Lissa and Maribelle early at all, as every map needs healing.

I can't really decide who to feed Gangrel to, and Chrom ends up getting the kill thanks to a Sumia pairup attack. He'll be reaching Aether in no time at all. The boss fight itself? After seven turns when his Lucky Seven skill wears off, attacks are almost guaranteed to connect, especially by highly accurate units like Stahl or Virion. Both Chrom and Sumia can avoid being doubled, though not coming close to doubling themselves.
