Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

Last stop on my item collection tour!

South across the bridge, then east, south, and west to a chest you can use your Mage's Key on for a Phantom Rod.

Now, to Atainius' Palace...except when you're walking on the water to it, head south when you see a path in the water that'll allow that. This leads to an area to explore with a giant purple mantis that drops the 3rd Dark Crystal which grants Dark Mist. The most expensive single target magic at 35 mp, but also one of the stronger spells. Works quite well when paired up with a mp leeching setup such as the Wind Spear or a strong weapon & Seath's Helm.

Anyways, as you keep walking along the path, keep an eye to the south for a wall you can open up. If you run into a drop off leading to some mantises and that chest with the Dragon Crystal that needed the Gold Key from earlier, you've gone a bit too far.

The hidden path by that southern wall leads to a Verdite & Tidal Blade. Warp out when you get both items.

Now, to the palace for real. The two chests at the warp leading inside can be unlocked with the Mage's Key for a Talsian Leaf & Verdite.

Inside, head east & north at the pedestal. You should end up at the sealed door you can use your Water Key on via the nearby pedestal. Inside, claim the Water Staff after a quick cutscene.

Now, to the east of the pedestal, then north when you hit the room the Mage Claws were in. The two Mage's Key chests here contain a Crystal & Tidal Band, the latter being a nice accessory with mp regen. Combine this with Seath's Helm and you should seldom have to refill mp except when you go on prolonged Dark Mist usage sprees.

With the Star Key taken from whatever pedestal you had it in, it's time to start going to the endgame.
