Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

New area to explore briefly for one weapon and an important NPC.

The first highlight...the wall faces shooting fireballs. Those fireballs are basically instant kills if you have no fire resistance as they can do a few hundred points of damage with none of it. All that fire resistant gear from Thedeck's Keep though? You can tank them just fine with that equipment on.

Two ways to cross the river of lava...Harvine's Key on the emblem to unseal the door or Harvine's Flute while between the two wind pillars to make a bridge appear.

If you head into the royal treasury, you'll likely see an ornate chest that is sealed. Ignore this for now.

As you explore this area (Don't take the jump that leads back to some swinging maces), you'll find the entrance to the Ice Cave. You can explore this now if you want, but I elect to wait until later just because.

More importantly, going west, then turning north when there's a fork leads to some magical armor entity, Jonas. He shares his life story with you, then tells you to bring all four of Orladin's elemental weapons and a total of 15 spells learned. Thankfully, I have one weapon and two dark magic spells left to grab. Jonas tells us to seek out his dragon mount for a gift. We'll do that, but first...a puzzle!

For this puzzle, you need to insert your two Shrine Keys into the nearby wheels, then turn them. The hint for this is in Leon Shore's house on that painting with the two knights and the emblems on their shields. The left wheel should have a crescent on the 3 o'clock spot while the right wheel should have a shrine key symbol on the 9 o'clock spot. Done right, this lets you open the door behind Jonas, leading to some crystal you can speak to. Yeah, you can't open the door behind it...but apparently the sword is up for grabs.

This sword is Seath's Sword. It still retains the exact same offensive stats it had in KF1US & KF2US, but grants an extra ability here...that ornate chest I talked about earlier? You can now open that and any other chests like it...and all will have some kind of Seath related defensive piece in it.

To start, back to the beginning of the game. Head to Jose's house which is still locked, but can be opened up with the Gold Key. Inside is an ornate chest to open for Seath's Helm. If you put the helm on, you'll get to leech mp on every hit, allowing you to switch out your Wind Spear for something else if you'd like.

The other locale to visit is a door that was sealed in the past, but breathing could be heard behind it. By talking to Jonas, this door can be opened and you can have a chat with the dragon inside. He'll hand over the 2nd Dark Crystal which grants Void Beam. For 30 mp, this sends a projectile that explodes on contact, damaging all enemies caught in its blast radius.

Behind the dragon? A grave with the Shin Ken katana you can take.

Now, for some extra pieces of Seath's armor set.

If you head towards South Village, home of the now dead greedy mayor, you may recall the bridge you had to lower to get over to the village. If you fall down the gap that bridge made a path across, you can locate Seath's Shield in the chest down here.

Now, to East Village. Just go straight east when you enter the area to that door that was sealed before. It is sealed no more, allowing you to claim Seath's Arm Guards from the chest behind it.

After a quick visit to Harvine's Old Castle to open two chests with my Mage's Key for a Harvine's Pick & Dragon Crystal, it's back to Central Village I go.

First, the blacksmith. Remember the elemental stones we've been picking up as of late? He'll forge a stone of your choice onto your Necron's Blade lv3 which the weapon should rank up to at lv28. Doing this grants Necron's Blade 50 points in the element that you choose. Bear in mind that once you go through with this process, you can't use the other stones on it.

Next, the water mill lady. Giving her a Melenat Peach will give you Apple Pie. Believe this raises strength permanently.

After this, back to Atainius' Palace. This is the last area I need to raid for items before I start making my way towards the endgame.
