Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

Getting close to the endgame now!

Slightly different starting position since I realized there's a pedestal closer to the second to last area I can utilize for my operations there.

In any case, it's back to those swinging maces near the lava lake with the fireball spitting faces of doom. If you head south after getting past them heading west, you should hit a pair of wind pillars you can use your flute on. Nothing you can do back there, but the nearby door by the pillars eventually leads to a save point & pedestal behind a couple hidden walls.

Now, those wind pillars...if you want, you can fall down the pit to a chest you can open with the Gold Key for some Gauntlets of Darkness. They have very low physical defenses, but high elemental defenses. Allegedly they increase the weight of a weapon, but if there's a difference, it's very minor in comparison to the huge strength boost these gloves give. I just wish I knew this at the time I got them sadly.

Next, to the Royal Treasury past the lava lake. There's a chest with a reasonable sum of gold and a few mimics with more gold to swipe from them, but more importantly, the ornate chest in the back has the final piece of Seath's set, the armor. The nearby chest that you can open with Harvine's Key nets you a Harvine's Pick.

After some more random slayings, I actually explore the Ice Cave. Nothing much here except for some ice golems and two pieces of equipment, the Ice Boots & Ice Crystal Armor.

At Seath's Shrine, you can now talk to Jonas with all four of Orladin's elemental weapons & 15 spells learned. His reward? Five new spells to play with.

Refusal - Basically the same as it was in KF2US, a spell that makes you immune to damage. Costs a staggering 155 mp though. Use it only if your life is in danger.

Phoenix Flame - Ice Bird, but fire elemental and stronger basically. Costs 36 mp.

Waterfall - Picks a random target, including crap you likely can't see, and blasts them with water. Costs 32 mp.

Shudom - See Waterfall, but replace water with getting eaten by an earth dragon's head. Costs 40 mp.

Tornado - Fire Storm/Ice Storm basically. Costs 32 mp.

After this, continue going west and look for a path heading north into a cave. If you see a path going south before that, remember it as it's the way into the next area.

Anyways, in that cave, there's some weak as hell demons inside and a new weapon, the Demon's Shield Blade.

Now go take that path to the south and head onwards to the next area.
