Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

Still hot on the collection of those elemental weapons. There's one in this dungeon I'm about to enter which, by the way, you use your Depleted Fire Crystal on the pedestal to activate the red fountain and remove the seal from the door nearby.

In the first room of the dungeon, there's a new enemy. Nothing threatening attack wise, but because my current equipment setup leaves me a bit weak on the physical side of defensive stats, I need to be careful.

As for the two doors...one leads to an empty room, but has hidden walls leading to another room with a Phantom Rod and infinite spawning skeletons. The other door leads deeper into the dungeon.

The other path twists and turns with some detours going west, but mostly keeps going north. When you see a path going east, take it, then take the door immediately on your right for a pedestal & save point. I have my Star Key with me for a reason as I'll need an escape route here at least twice, one of those reasons I'm about to go collect by heading back to the red fountain. En route, I take a detour to go snag a Melenat Peach from a chest (Opened with the Copper Key).

Back at the red fountain, go east and look down by the chest with the Red Medicine. You'll notice a Truth Glass down there you can go grab. Warp out when you're done.

Outside the save room, I go east. There's another door to the south along the way that eventually leads to a Blue Medicine in a chest, but more importantly, going east all the way leads to an area with a pair of giant guards, two salamanders, and a giant wall face. The giants hit quite hard so you need to time your attacks correctly to keep them stunlocked (But are thankfully able to be aggro'd one at a time), but the giant wall face is more important because there's a switch behind it. Hit it, then check out the wall to the north of it by the northern giant. It's a hidden wall, but one that only opens up when you hit that switch.

Behind it? A chest with the Mage's Key. This key opens up all the stone chests I've been annoyed by being unable to open as of late.

Heading back west, I head north to a swinging mace which, despite being completely incapable of killing me unless I'm stupid, I disable via switch behind a hidden wall. Further into this path is a NPC you can chat with and two chests the Mage's Key opens which contain a Golden Medicine & Talsian Leaf.

Head back past the swinging (disabled) mace, then head west. Take the next path going north. You'll run past a door that is sealed on the way.

You should hit a room with a path going south, one going north past a wall face, and a grave guarded by a demon. It'll shoot fireballs at range or smack you at melee. Nothing super dangerous if you time your attacks right (I did not here).

That grave has Emblazoned Flame Armor on it. Behind the grave is a plaque you need to check out. Doing so will unseal that door you just passed up, but for now, I go north. This eventually leads to a Flame Sword.

The only other area to check out is past another wall face to the east with two chests to grab, one having an Earth Herb, the other being a Mage's Key openable chest, giving you Flame Bracers in return.

Now for that path outside going south into a cave. It'll go east to a fork. Take the new path that goes west into a small area. There's a hidden path behind a door leading to a Talsian Leaf and another hidden wall in the area leading to a room with a well. This well has Thedeck's Wish inside of it, a ring with lots of fire resistance.

Back to that fork leading here to take the final path to explore. It leads to a pool of lava, a Fire Crystal in the middle, and a sealed door off to the side.

The sealed door can be opened with use of the Fire Key on the nearby pedestal. Inside, you can claim the Fire Axe after a short cutscene.

As for the Fire Crystal, look for a path you can take that will keep going up, allowing you to drop down onto the island the Fire Crystal is on and take it, the 3rd one collected. This grants Fire Storm which costs 18 mp. Warp out now.

Now, to that other sealed door we passed up earlier. Inside is a boss demon who has some damaging attacks, more so than its red skinned assistants. It'll drop Thedeck's Cowl on its death. Inside the sealed room is a chest with the Magma Stone (Open with the Mage's Key).

Done with this dungeon so take your Star Key and leave.

More next time!
