Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

If you'd like to play this game, the full installer can be found here:

If you're looking to upgrade from an earlier version of the mod, the latest patch (1.07) can be found here:

Time to end this. The journey picks back up at a save point in Verdite Castle.

From the save point, you'll want to go east through some doors. This leads to another door to the east you can take, but I check out what's up the stairs to the side...which is dragons who've learned to walk on two feet! Nothing special about them...except a rare drop, the Dragon Boots. Imagine my surprise when BOTH of the dragon enemies up here fork them over. Wonder what the chance of that was.

Anyways, fall down from the upper level here and look for a green colored proto-Rolf knight. Kill him for the Verdite Chamber Key. This unlocks that door to the west at the four way intersection by the carpet.

After showing off my equipment in front of said door (And finally equipping those blasted Gauntlets of Darkness because Necron wants more power), I unlock it to find...Lord Veyrac who's got some bulky armor on. If you trigger the text, expect to be assaulted by several enemies in addition to him. If you stick to the edge of the room though, you can wake him up and get near the Sword of Moonlight without causing him to summon aid to his cause. If you do summon the enemies like I do here, kill them first.

The man himself only relies on physicals. Nothing that sword & magic stunlocking powers can't handle.

After he falls, the final cutscenes play. If you've played KF1US, you'll know what befalls Necron in that game.

After the credits roll, I show off a quick clip at the library showing my final item collection percentage which includes things like the Dragon Boots and Verdite Chamber Key (Which I believe also gives you credit for the final boss since you can't escape the final boss room once you step inside). A total of 95.70% isn't bad at all with all things considered.

Until next time!
