Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

If you'd like to play this game, the full installer can be found here:

Last area where Necron hopefully gets his revenge against the king.

As you run across the nearby bridge, there's a couple side rooms with blue warriors in them. Nothing hard to handle. Where you really want to go is directly west of the bridge to a fountain area. From here, go north into the castle.

As you walk inside a bit, tons of arrow traps activate. Make sure you're at full health and run through them quickly to minimize the damage sustained.

After you're through the arrow traps, going north leads to enemies you can slay for experience, but the path you want is to the west of the traps. As you do this, the way to the upper levels get sealed off. Something tells me Necron is not getting his revenge at this rate.

Anyways, following the carpet west, check out the third room on your left. There's a chest inside with Golden Medicine.

Further following of the carpet going west leads to a four way intersection. The door to the west is locked and requires a key. For now, go south all the way into the library and find some kind of holy man here. Kill him, then claim the Royal Key from the chest. This isn't the key for that door in here, but it does let you open a few chests back on Melanat you couldn't unlock before.

After exploring around a bit more, I head back to the pentagram that lead me to the castle, use the Circle of Twelve to get back to Melanat, then my Star Gate which, with the power of time slowing, warps me back to a save point I can use to stop the time slowing.
